Liesbeth Ellinger

Liesbeth Ellinger has had her own homoeopathic veterinary practice since 1987, where she treats both large and small animals.  Since 2003, she has been working together with four homeopathic physicians in a homeopathic centre (Centaurea).

Liesbeth has given lectures in different countries: Europe, Russia, the United States, South Africa, and Colombia.  She teaches a homeopathic approach to farmers.  More than 400 farmers completed a homoeopathic course of hers on how to use homeopathy on their own farm.  The experiences of these farmers have been collected, and are being used for homoeopathic research on appropriate diseases, including diarrhoea in calves ( 2006), birthing in sheep (2003-2006), etc. This is being done together with the Louis Bolk Institute in Driebergen, Holland and with successful farmers. In 2010, the study on the prevention of neonatal diarrhea in pigs with homeopathy was published in “Homeopathy”, a peer-reviewed magazine: Homeopathy as replacement for antibiotics in the case of Escherichia coli diarrhoea in neonatal piglets. This study won a prize from the Vithoulkas Institute for the best peer-reviewed article in 2012.

Liesbeth was President of the IAVH (International Association for Veterinary Homeopathy) from 2005-2011.
